Colourpop Metallics Lipsticks

So I made one of my very first Colourpop orders when I saw that they had restocked their "Ultra Metallic Lip" liquid lipsticks. Colourpop is a cruelty free brand and all of their lip liners and lipsticks are vegan. I was actually so excited about this restock that I had to break out the credit card because I was on vacation and hadn't worked in about a month!

These are an amazing price for the quality and amount you are getting. With the metallic lip (and anything) craze going on, Colourpop is offering these lipsticks at a staggering $6 a piece! This is not even mentioning the amazing prices they have for their other products.

I wore each of these colours and they stayed on all day. The only time they came off was if I ate something oily/greasy (which is normal) or if I manually took it off at the end of the day. There was minimal transferring and they looked amazing.

I got some swatches for you below so you can check out how the colours look in different lighting and such:

As you can see I bought all 4 of their offered metallic liquid lipsticks. From right to left there is: "Zebra", "3-Way", "Kween", and "Man Eater".

Here is a picture of the swatches next to their lipstick tubes (with name) so you can see how each of them looks. I took this picture in natural lighting, indirect from sunlight. From top to bottom there is: "Zebra", "3-Way", "Kween", and "Man-Eater".

So if you haven't been able to catch my drift this whole article, I'm saying "if you love metallic lipsticks and great prices- get this!" Colourpop is really great at restocking quickly so don't be discouraged if you find they have all sold out- they will be back soon!

As always let me know in the comments if you love/hate Colourpop, or if there are any brands you would like me to try!

Too Faced "Unicorn Tears" and "Clueless" LA CRÈME COLOR DRENCHED LIPSTICK

So my mom and I ran to Ulta the other day and naturally we both wanted to look at the lovely Too Faced section just cause. It's not only high quality products but it's cruelty free plus all of their packaging is amazingly cute! My mom already owns a few Too Faced products so we wanted to see what was new.

That's when it happend. My mom picked up the last "Unicorn Tears" La Creme Color Drenched Lipstick by Too Faced. We promptly snatched it up along with "Clueless" just because it's sooooo pink!

If you are new to Too Faced and the cosmetics world, "Unicorn Tears" is extremely rare to find in store if at all. Since it came out it has been a hit with makeup junkies because it is a different colour on everyone and it is super beautiful no matter which colour it turns out to be. Plus it is a super soft, smooth formula, which is long lasting and moisturizing.

I already loved the product just from trying it on after we got home. They are a bit pricey ($22 a piece) but I would say they are totally worth it. I tried to take off my swatches at one point and I had to use like dish detergent, olive oil, and a wet washcloth and scrub hard. It was pretty good.
I took some swatches on my forearm in natural and flash lighting so you can see the colours in different lighting:
Swatches in natural lighting.
Clueless on top, Unicorn Tears on bottom.
Swatches in flash. Clueless on left, Unicorn Tears on Right.

I would totally recommend picking these up if you have the money (and you can find them). If you can't find them in-store you will most likely be able to catch them online at the Too Faced company website. If you want a direct link to the lipsticks themselves the page is here.

As always thank you for reading! Feel free to leave a comment below letting me know what you think of Too Faced cosmetics, "Unicorn Tears" or "Clueless". Do you love them? Hate them?

And don't forget to leave me recommendations as well! I love trying new things!

e.l.f. Contour Palette

Alright! I am finally back in America so I have a computer that is available for me to use all the time now which makes it super convenient and easy to write again! Plus the "y" and "z" keys are not switched so I can type better- yay! All around everything is good!

On to the review however:

This is the e.l.f contour palette! It retails at $6 dollars online and in store. If you are interested in purchasing here's a link to the item: here. Don'd worry if you forget where I put this link, though, because I will include another one at the end.

First off, this is an AMAZING palette for beginners. If you have never contoured before, I highly recommend you start off with powder and this is the perfect price for those who are unsure if they even like the look of contouring yet.

These colours are the perfect pigment for blending to the degree of "how sharp" you want your contour to look.

Every time I've used this palette the contour look has stayed on all day- especially when I applied e.l.f.'s setting spray over the top of my finished look.

I would recommend using a base such as a primer, bb or cc cream, or foundation before applying this palette. This way it really stays on the whole day and the colours stay at their most pigmented.

You can see I actually use
 this quite often!

Swatches with and without flash.

Overall, I would say this a product that you definitely need to try, especially if you want to contour and are unsure or are new. I found this product blends the best with a kabuki brush, but I would love to hear what you use!
If you forgot the link to the contour palette above, here is another link.

Love this e.l.f. contour palette? Hate it? Let me know below in the comments. Have a product you want me to try out? Leave a comment! Thanks so much for reading!

Have a lovely day!

Lack of Posting

So sorry to my active readers that I have not been posting in the past month. I am on vacation in Germany and it is a bit difficult to give quality posts on a cell phone.
I will be back in America in about 4 days now, so be on the look out for new posts. I will try my hardest to get an update in before I leave, however, in an attempt to make it up to you all.
I hope you are all having a lovely Thursday and are treating yourself right!
